Magnificent Evergreen Live Oak Trees, a Symmbol of Strength & Endurance

600 Majestic Oak Trees

Native to North America, over 600 species of oak trees provide human comfort. Oak trees produce shade, firewood, building materials, and climbing playgrounds. Also resistant to fungal diseases and insects, Oaktree wood makes great wine and whiskey barrels.

Because they are evergreen, our ancestors called them live oak trees. They also support other life. Bird nests, squirrel nests, and Spanish moss. There’s a lot of life in one tree!

The Official State Tree of Georgia

The USS Constitution Battleship’s hull kept British warships from sinking Old Ironsides. The hull made—from Southern live oak wood—prevented tragedy during the War of 1812. Since that time, live oaks symbolize strength, endurance, and longevity.

Oak trees must be at least 15 to 20 years old to produce thousands of acorns every fall. Rich in protein, carbs fats, and minerals such as calcium and potassium, Oak trees feed pigs, bears, deer, and squirrels. At 100 years old oak trees still produce 2,000 acorns per year.

America’s oak trees live thousands of years. Mature live oak trees stand between 60 and 100 feet tall and reach diameters of 150 feet wide. Large oak trees, visible from outer space, enrich our lives with Majesty.

Because of the magnificence of Oak Trees, we call our philanthropic movement Oak Circle. Please join us. We are stronger together!
