Welcome to Oak Circle Community School, a unique educational program centered in Wildomar, California and surrounding communities. We offer integrated arts and outdoor education enrichment programs to local school-age kids and teens. We sponsor community arts events, nature excursions, and service learning projects as we work together to establish a self-sustaining Community School of Arts and Ecology in our own backyard.
The mission of Oak Circle Community School is to cultivate an inclusive community of lifelong learners who contribute as citizens happily engaged in meaningful, sustainable lifestyles through a vital relationship with nature and the arts.
We currently offer a holistic Homeschool Enrichment Program that combines community-based fine and performing arts, nature-based field study, and service learning projects. Kids ages 9 – 16 are invited to participate in this small-group learning community as part of a well-rounded homeschool education. Families are invited to participate in a monthly Parent Book Club, quarterly Student Project Share Fairs, and enjoy occasional student performances, art shows, and other community events.
I love this idea.. I was home schooled and graduated at 16yrs old. I believe children can cultivate all areas of there life and interestes without being tied down to the limited views that public shchools tend to offer… Every child has seperate needs..I hope that you are still offering this when my daughter is 9….might be a good avenue for her to take.
